” Somewhere close, yet far enough, there’s a place where time cannot reach. A time suspended in a moment, where the Earth starts turning, and where you know I’ll be waiting. I’ll be the wings that keep your heart in the clouds and you’ll be the anchor Β that keeps my feet on the ground.”
Victoria Erickson
That’s a nice quote. π

You’re welcome. I took the quote to be talking about a happy memory, something frozen in time but also always near at hand, and something also that can both elevate our spirits and yet also keep us grounded and give us a sense of who we are.
This interpretation seemed to make sense when put together with the photograph showing a tenth birthday — one of the biggest ones of childhood and surely a generator of many happy memories the world over. I don’t always get these kinds of thing right, though. My record in interpreting poetry has had more than its share of magnificent total failures! My apologies if the quote means something completely different! π

I love that quote. Your photo is such a celebration of a big number in a child’s life, double digits.
