A city inside the city of Valencia, in the south of Spain, where you are invited to enter the Spanish architect Calatrava’s vision of the future, inspired by animal skeletons. It has six elements: the Hemisféric, the Science Museum, the Oceanografic (Europe’s largest aquarium), the Palau de les Arts, the Umbracle and the Ágora. These different buildings offer you science, technology, nature and art. If you love photography you will feel inspired! It is well worth an evening visit as well, don’t miss it!

  1. It’s actually one of my favorite cities in the whole world. It has so much to offer, from food, music, friendly people, to amazing art. I had a scary moment flying in to Valencia 4,5 years ago. It was a thunderstorm on the way down to the airport, and the plane got really bumpy. People started to scream, and we circled around, above the sea for about an hour before we could land. Geez..haven’t thought about that in a while. Everything went well though. I hope to be able to pay that lovely city a visit soon again 🙂
